What is the Wine Eco Pack Less Waste Format^TM, and how is it different from regular wine bottles?

The Wine Eco Pack Less Waste Format^TM is our packaging solution for large format wines that is made from recycled fibres, it's recyclable in select regions and has a lower carbon footprint compared to traditional glass bottles (Alko Oy Update of wine packaging LCA – Final Report (Gaia Consulting Oy, 2018), making it a more sustainable choice for wine lovers.
Why is the Wine Eco Pack Less Waste Format^TM more beneficial than glass bottles?

The Wine Eco-Pack is lighter, requires fewer resources to produce, and reduces emissions during transport (due to it’s lighter weight!). It's also made from recyclable materials, which minimizes waste and supports a circular economy.
What types of packaging do you use for your wines, and are they recyclable?

Our wines are available in traditional glass bottles, Tetra Paks^® and the large format Wine Eco Pack Less Waste Format^TM. Most packaging materials, including the outer cardboard of the Wine Eco Pack Less Waste Format^TM, are fully recyclable where applicable.
